Xbrick® requires very little material—and a lot of air. Xbrick® is made of single-grade expanded polypropylene (EPP) and is 96% air. Thanks to this material, Xbrick® feels good to the touch, is pleasantly warm, and has no hard edges or corners. Plus, it’s easy to clean and disinfect.
The manufacturing process is environmentally friendly and has very low energy requirements. After a long service life, the single-material composition can be easily recycled. Pretty good for a plastic!

You can purchase Xbrick® with or without accessories. One of our best-selling accessories is the X-connector: this beech wood connector easily joins two Xbrick® units together using a plug-in system. This allows you to create bleachers or tables at various heights. With the wooden X-tseat element, Xbrick® becomes a seat-table combination or a mobile desk. X-bench transforms two Xbrick® units into a bench. Also very popular: the versatile X-tray, which can be placed on top of an Xbrick®, or the X-toolbox for paperclips, pens, and odds and ends.

Xbrick® is stackable and can be combined in countless ways.

The basic concept: a 500 x 333 x 250 mm block with a surface that is partly textured and partly smooth. Each Xbrick® has six grip holes, making it a breeze to connect compatible accessories. Whether you have 2 or 20 Xbricks®—the system can be expanded again and again. Create something with it yourself!

We at wd3 designed Xbrick® because we wanted furniture that encourages interaction and strengthens collaboration. The sophisticated construction is patented. The design won a gold award at the 2018 Focus Open competition hosted by the Design Center Baden-Württemberg. Our impact: We keep you moving!
